Gelonghui, December 12 | Canadian producer Suncor Energy predicts that Oil & Gas production will increase in 2025, betting on the continued growth of energy demand. The company expects next year's production to be between 0.81 million and 0.84 million barrels per day, higher than the 0.77 million to 0.81 million barrels per day expected for 2024. The company also announced a reduction in capital expenditures for 2025, down to 6.1 billion to 6.3 billion Canadian dollars, compared to this year's forecast of 6.3 billion to 6.5 billion Canadian dollars.
IEA Monthly Report: Even if OPEC+ delays production increases, there will still be an oversupply of oil next year!
The IEA stated that if OPEC+ implements the production recovery plan starting in April, the Global market will face a surplus of 1.4 million barrels per day. The IEA has raised the forecast for global oil demand growth in 2025 by 90,000 barrels to 1.1 million barrels, mainly due to the economic stimulus measures recently announced by China.
